Sisu in Finnish and means grit, tenancity and hard work. It is no secret that the Oregon Coast is full of tough weather and hardworking citizens just like the Finnish owner of this brewery, located inside of the Times Theater.
I had a part in naming the brewery and I worked on the logo, illustrations, collateral and website design.

The final mark is simple, bold and jagged. Terrible Tilly (a.k.a Tillamook Rock Lighthouse) was chosen as a graphic element to pair with logo; a decommissioned lighthouse near the brewery in Seaside. Here are some teaser posters, tap handles, patio banners and more.
